Graduate Consultant

Graduate Consultant role delivering technology-focused consulting projects for UK public-sector clients across cyber security, architecture, AI, data analytics, strategy and technology-enabled change.

We deliver complex, technology-driven projects, primarily within the UK public sector. Our clients include organisations such as the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, Department for Transport, Ministry of Justice, police forces, and the Department for Education.

Our work spans a wide range of areas, including architecture development, cyber security, programme and project management, and data engineering, analytics, and AI. We have a strong track record of successful delivery and are recommended to contribute to some of the UK Government’s most high-profile and confidential projects.

The variety of our clients and projects means you will be exposed to diverse technical and business challenges, assisting your development across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to consultancy projects that combine technology and business engagement. You will work with stakeholders to assist the delivery of technology-enabled change in ways that are effective, secure, and appropriate to client needs.

You are likely to have:

• A degree in a STEM or related discipline (postgraduate study is beneficial but not required)

• An interest in how technology is applied in business or public sector contexts

The following skills and experiences are helpful but not essential:

• Clear communication techniques, including presenting ideas and recommendations

• Confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders

• An openness to learning new subject areas

• The aptitude to build and maintain positive working relationships

• Experience (academic, professional, or extracurricular) in technical or consulting-related environments

Additional Requirements

• Eligibility and willingness to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.

Working Arrangements

We offer a hybrid working model, with an office base in Guildford and access to our other locations in London, Swindon, and Cheltenham. 

Project needs may involve a mix of:

• Working from home

• Time in the office

• Time on client sites (often 2–3 days per week, though some projects may require more on-site presence)

Some roles may involve occasional travel or short stays away from home during the working week. You will work within a team-based environment, with opportunities to contribute to internal initiatives.
