Provide administrative and student support by handling enquiries, organising events, creating communications, and supporting student engagement initiatives within the Information, Advice & Guidance team.We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) - Graduate Intern. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) team in delivering an effective and responsive service that enhances the student experience.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Acting as the first point of contact for student enquiries, including responding to face-to-face enquiries within the Student Support Hub and supporting the management of telephone and email enquiries.Assisting in the planning, organisation and delivery of student experience activities, including Welcome, induction and graduation, as well as student events held throughout the academic year, in order to support and enhance the student experience.Working flexibly across the School of Social Sciences to support student experience initiatives, including Academic Advising, PASS, peer mentoring, and student voice activities, and support the Justice Hub projects when necessary.Assisting in the creation, updating and dissemination of student communications through digital newsletters, digital assets, social media updates, and the Student Community SharePoint site.Assisting in the organisation, attendance and minute-taking of Student Voice Committee meetings, ensuring that student voice is represented and that feedback is appropriately recorded, communicated and acted upon.We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences and approaches to their work.About YouWe encourage applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. You should demonstrate:Essential CriteriaGraduated from a UK university within the last two academic years.Good organisational skills, and able to prioritise work.Good communication skills.Have experience and/or an interest in the area of Information, Advice and Guidance.
