From day one, you'll join a product squad, contribute to shared codebases, and ship production code used by merchants every day.Starting Salary: £32,500  What You'll Work OnYou'll contribute to greenfield mobile products and major features within the SumUp ecosystem, with a focus on:Mobile development for Android or iOSIntegrating mobile experiences with SumUp's backend APIs and data systemsBuilding user-facing features used daily by millions of merchantsMobile training is provided during the programme,  you don't need to be a mobile specialist on day one.Your ImpactWorking alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product managers, you will:Build and ship mobile features for SumUp's merchant-facing productsIntegrate with core SumUp systems, APIs, and internal toolingWrite clean, testable, well-documented code following team standardsParticipate fully in team rituals: planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessionsTake ownership, iterate quickly on ideas and prototypes, and learn by shipping real featuresYou Might Be a Great Fit If You…Are a recent graduate (Bachelor's or Master's), final year student, or early-career professional (0–2 years' experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldUnderstand data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programmingHave hands-on experience with at least one modern language — Swift, Java, KotlinHave some exposure to mobile development (Android or iOS) — or a strong eagerness to learnAre familiar with Git and collaborative workflows (branches, pull requests)Are passionate about building intuitive, user-focused mobile experiencesLearn fast, welcome feedback, and enjoy working in collaborative cross-functional teamsWhy Join SumUp?Impact with Purpose — Ship mobile features used by millions of small businesses.
