Start yours now!Job DescriptionAs a Wellsite Engineer, you’ll be involved in every part of our business. From helping acquire essential data to planning long-term well development, you’ll organize, run, and report operations in the field environment and assist specialists and other Engineers with key decisions. Your training will be hands-on as you learn about the energy industry and become an expert in the various tools and services in your business line. You’ll be asked to learn a lot quickly, and you’ll be given responsibility and support to make your impact and start becoming a leader in our business. ResponsibilitiesPerform operations, operate equipment, and be accountable for team wellsite performance, by the end of your training.Manage field operations, including engineering design, maintenance, job planning, and operational reporting.Learn the well construction process and understand the role of different service companies.Support engineers and specialists on-site and help with essential duties, such as risk analysis.Effectively manage a crew and/or processes.Help prepare wellsite reports and post-job debriefings.Actively contribute to continuous improvement culture—across the business. QualificationsBSc or MEng: Petroleum, Energy, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering (other closely related degrees considered).Good verbal and written communication skills.Quick learner able to use logic to solve problems.Be personally committed to continuous improvement.Evidence of leadership and teamwork skills.The desire to work in at a wellsite environment and in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects.The right to work in the Romania. Preferred SkillsStrong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and confidently.Be able to choose and initiate action.Be passionate about learning and research.Be eager to deliver results and meet demands.Remain positive during pressures, setbacks, and fast-paced environments.If this role is of interest to you and you are eager to learn more then we strongly encourage you to apply. For a balanced planet. Description & Scope:​​The next generation of applications under development for Reservoir Engineering within SLB are expected to seamlessly integrate within GenAI tooling and existing industry workflows. At the heart of this new application is allowing extensibility via the integration of the Python framework alongside a set of open API's that give access to core functionality of the application. Responsibilities:This project would be responsible for proving the early stage integration of our new pre & post processing application and other tooling into a wider workflow by leveraging our initial extensibility framework and API's. Other responsibilities and deliverables will include:Creation of workflow that uses our python to drive our application to perform a set of tasks in an automated way.Investigate the different testing methodologies and frameworks for LLM's under the scenarios in use within SLB DeliverablesProduce a report on the options for robust automated testing of LLM's within SLBDemonstrate the integration of one of these testing frameworks into an automated CI/CD pipeline Learning OutcomesExposure to and use of LLM'sGain experience of building complex multi-functional reservoir engineering workflows. Qualifications:Studying a Bacehelors or Masters in Computer Science, Reservoir Engineering, or a related disiciplinePython programming skills SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
