With a detailed onboarding plan, we will introduce you to the world of pricing and personal lines insurance, setting you up for a successful career.You will work closely with your pricing colleagues to prepare and analyse data using appropriate statistical techniques, develop and monitor pricing models, and make judgements and recommendations for price changes.This fantastic role is complex and challenging and can make a big difference to the company's future profitability. You can expect to make real contributions to a variety of projects from the outset.We work in a hybrid way at Saga, both at home and in the office. This role requires you to be working from our Folkestone office at least twice a week, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a business.Role ResponsibilityAs our newest Pricing Analyst, you will proactively use data to identify trends, risks, and areas of opportunity across our Insurance portfolio.Other accountabilities will include:• Developing and improving pricing models and analytical tools.• Monitoring business performance and wider market activity.• Making pricing recommendations that strike the right balance between customer value and business performance.• Building and implementing price changes, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.• Collaborating with the pricing team and provide support to the wider business.• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.The Ideal CandidateWe are delighted to be able to offer study support for the successful applicant, therefore a strong mathematical education is essential.1st or 2:1 in a mathematical or equivalent degree (including Actuarial Science & Statistics)Microsoft Office skills.
