A 12-month Business Systems Analyst graduate internship at MetLife focused on bridging business and IT by gathering requirements, supporting system development, and contributing to tech-driven financial services projects.The Opportunity MetLife UK is seeking a graduate to join our Graduate Training Program to fil the role of Business System Analyst (BSA) intern.Key Responsibilities Liaise between the business and technical teams. BSAs gather, review, analyse and evaluate end-user needs as well as gather and develop functional requirements and functional design documentation. BSA Interns may gain exposure to the following, depending on their specified role and team: Requirements gathering processesSoftware development life cycleBusiness process and use case modelling System testing IT standards, procedures, policies Technical writing/documentation IT project managementRequired Qualifications Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).Preference will be given to students academically involved in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, mathematics, business administration, or related fieldsAble to commit to a 12‑month Internship (with potential for extension or graduate opportunities)Preferred Qualifications Strong technical curiosity and entrepreneurial mindsetExcellent problem solving and analysis skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentRelevant campus involvement, work experience, and/or community service experienceWorking understanding of AI concepts Understanding of database design Insurance knowledgeBenefits We OfferMetLife UK offers a range of benefits to deliver value to our employees and their families, supporting their health, wellbeing and financial security.
