Your work could involve the following:Assessing and designing small and large scale multi-disciplinary greenfield and brownfield Oil & Gas projects as well as the next phase of the world’s offshore wind farms, whether that’s floating or fixed foundations or Offshore Substations, from concepts right through to operation.Developing life extension plans for ageing structures in the Oil & Gas market as well as power boosts and life extensions for Offshore Wind Turbine Structures.Improving efficiency offshore through inspection activities, development of risk-based inspection work scopes, risk ranking and review of anomalies, and operational support.Creating and interrogating finite element models in our advanced structural analysis teams using a variety of software and programming languages.Determining the fatigue and fracture reliability of structures with our highly specialised experts.Interfacing directly with clients, representing our teams to discuss engineering solutions to complex problems.Supporting our external markets, business development and work winning activities.Working as part of an integrated team, ensuring client interaction and project delivery from multiple locations.In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.
