Two of our Investment teams are looking for their new Off-Cycle Private Equity Analyst to support them during 6 months Internships. (Candidates who can extend their tenure will be looked upon favourably).The following start dates are available: May 2026 & June/July 2026This role would be well suited for a student or recent graduate who would like to broaden their experience in the Private Equity industry. The role is both broad and varied and you will support our Director & Associates whilst reporting to the Partner. We are looking for strong academics, excellent data analysis skills and it is very important the candidate is both confident and has an eye for detail.The RoleAs an intern, you will work closely with the investment professionals in one of our IK's UK deal teams and will assist with the appraisal of potential investment opportunities (both quantitative and qualitative) in the UK. The work of an intern is highly diverse, and candidates will gain investing and operational experience across a wide range of sectors.Deal sourcing; sourcing exercises and updating pipeline informationAnalyse potential investment opportunitiesCarry out research and prepare background informationBusiness and operational analysisAssist with internal presentationAssist the team with portfolio reportingProject related portfolio workFinancial modelling and valuationJob requirementsOur ExpectationsRelevant academic focus, e.g. finance/economics and engineeringPrior first work experience (ideally 6 months) through relevant internships in private equity/ venture capital, investment banking/ M&A advisory, strategic consulting or comparable internships.Excellent academic track recordFinancially literate and analytical mindsetHigh level of attention to detailOur OfferingDynamic and supportive working environment with on-the-job training providedInsight into the workings of a leading European private equity firmOpportunity to work with a broad range of colleagues in a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
