Full training will be provided to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed. As a Graduate Operational Buyer at our Filton Site you will have the responsibility for the order processing of in-contract scheduling and management of supplier delivery performance in line with MPS and business requirements, ensuring the delivery against supplier and business performance objectives focused on procured parts delivery.How You'll ContributeThe Graduate Operational Buyer will be responsible for the following contributions, Training will be provided where required: Ensuring delivery in line with operational performance requirements from suppliers across a scope of ~ £10m spendSupplier scheduling in line with MPS and the accuracy of supplier and procured parts data within the MRP system to ensure that demand signals minimise shortages and eliminate unwanted inventoryDaily maintenance of supplier promise dates to ensure that the most up-to-date and accurate information is held within the supplier schedulesContribute towards and support the Procurement Operations Manager or Site Procurement Manager to deliver the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process in regards to external supply reviewsManagement of suppliers to ensure that they can deliver against committed orders,  identification of supply risk, constraints and bottleneck, escalating as requiredMaintain external capacity reviews in line with MPSResponsible for on-going supplier performance improvementSupplier relationship and daily interfaceEnsuring multi-function team reviews are taking place with key suppliersDaily communication with internal customers and receiving areasAdherence to standard procurement processes and daily regimen/management tasksOwnership of the supplier scorecard process to ensure that supplier performance is communicated to all levels of the supplier and is regularly reviewed as part of multifunction team reviewsSupport SQE on supplier non-conformance and processing of supplier returns and claimsEnsure prompt supplier payment by clearing any invoice queriesEnsure adherence to the Health and Safety policies and procedureWhat you'll BringTo help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and expertise/ talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes: Essential:IT literacy, especially ExcelMust be willing and eligible to undertake Security Clearance Desirable:Experience in Supply Chain Management / Procurement roles would be benificial but not essential as training will be providedAPICS / MCIPS qualificationMRP Proficiency What We'll OfferOnce you’re on board you’ll get the following perks and benefits: Competitive salary dependant on experienceIndustry Leading Pension Scheme = we’ll match your contributions up to 8% on a 1 : 1.5 basis (Total contribution up to 20%)Life Assurance 8 x salary25 days holiday + bank holidaysFlexible working hours including the ability to finish at 12noon on a FridayIncome protectionShopping discountsCycle To Work SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeVirtual GP Clinic for you and immediate familyA collaborative, dynamic working environment
