You will also interface with external stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver geotechnical solutions for a variety of infrastructure projects.You will:Attend meetings and site visits with Geotechnical Design Engineer or Senior Design Engineer to discuss project-specific geotechnical requirements and solutions for tenders and projects.Assist in the preparation of geotechnical design briefs and performing analysis, design calculations for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, earth works and other ground engineering aspects.Assist in scoping and preparing Ground Investigations (GI), including determining techniques, drafting specifications, and supervising on-site work to ensure safety, data accuracy, and quality.Prepare Ground Investigation Reports (GIR), Geotechnical design Reports (GDR), perform foundation assessments based on GI data, providing design recommendations and summarizing findings for site conditions.Check design calculations completed by other team members or external consultants.Assist in preparing technical drawings, models, and schedules based on geotechnical designs and analyses.Support the governance process, ensuring designs and checks are completed within deadlines and fee estimates.Contribute to ensuring compliance with the company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management standards.Take a proactive approach to your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your technical knowledge and stay updated with industry developments.This role is available for a September 2026 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.
