As an Investment Management Associate, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced Investment Managers while building the technical knowledge and professional qualifications needed for a successful career in wealth management.This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to develop their career within a leading investment management business.The RoleAs an Investment Management Associate, you will support the Investment Management team in delivering tailored investment solutions and exceptional client service. You'll gain exposure to portfolio management, investment research, client relationships, and financial markets while working towards industry-recognised qualifications.QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesSupport Investment Managers in the day-to-day management of client portfolios.Assist in preparing for client meetings, reviews, presentations, and investment proposals.Conduct investment and market research and undertake basic financial analysis.Support portfolio reviews and investment monitoring activities.Assist with investment dealing activities in line with competency and regulatory requirements.Draft client communications, reports, and performance summaries.Build trusted relationships with clients and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Attend investment meetings, market briefings, and training sessions.Work collaboratively with Financial Planners, Tax Advisers, Solicitors, Operations teams, and other business areas.Contribute to sector research projects and support the wider investment process.What You'll LearnThroughout the programme, you'll develop knowledge and experience in:Investment markets and economic trendsDifferent asset classes and investment stylesPortfolio construction and risk managementClient relationship managementRegulatory and compliance requirementsInvestment research and analysisWealth management best practiceYou'll also study towards professional qualifications, supported by our Learning & Development team.Who We're Looking ForWe are looking for motivated graduates who are eager to build a long-term career in investment management.Essential RequirementsMust have already graduated and hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum 2:1 preferred) by the programme start date.Have minimum 112 UCAS points from top 3 A-levels (excluding General Studies)Hold GCSE Grade 5 (or B) in English Language and MathsStrong interest in financial markets, investing, and wealth management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and numeracy skills.Ability to build relationships and deliver excellent client service.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.Eligibility to work in the UK.DesirablePrevious internship, placement, or work experience within financial services, investments, banking, or wealth management.Interest in completing professional qualifications such as the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.Learning & DevelopmentWe are committed to helping our graduates succeed.
