A Graduate Sustainability Consultant role focused on energy assessments and sustainable building design, helping construction projects meet environmental and regulatory standards.About Us:ERS Consultants are specialist energy and sustainable design consultants. This year we are celebrating our 20th anniversary!We have 4 main services pillars in our company:Building Regulation ComplianceEnergy & SustainabilityMEP Building Services DesignAir & Acoustic ServicesOur team of specialists are experts in their field, including Chartered Engineers, BREEAM assessors, Part L assessors, dynamic thermal modelling specialists & building validation specialists.Our team are the most important part of our success and we take pride in our wellbeing programmes and policies that support individuals including flexible working, mental health first aiders and readily available support through our extensive Employee Assistance programme.The Role:As a Graduate Sustainability Consultants at ERS, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of sustainability and Building Regulations assessments across the built environment.Your primary responsibilities will include carrying out SAP & SBEM assessments for both new and existing developments. While prior knowledge of SAP and SBEM is advantageous, it is not essential & full training and support will be provided.You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and a wide range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, contributing to energy strategies that support planning applications and ensure regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise while making a meaningful impact in the transition to more sustainable buildings.Qualifications and Experience:Degree qualified (or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, or a Built Environment discipline.Some experience within the built environment or a related sustainability role (placements and internships welcomed).Previous industry placement or relevant work experience is advantageous.Working knowledge of CAD or similar modelling software is essential.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.A proactive, personable, and motivated individual with a flexible and resilient approach.Why Work for Us:ERS is an exciting and rewarding place to build your career.
