About You and the Role:As a Capital Modelling Graduate, you will support the Modelling team in delivering capital assessments, transaction analysis and strategic modelling initiatives across the Group.You will work alongside experienced actuaries and modelling professionals, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to real business challenges while developing a strong foundation in actuarial science, capital modelling and risk management. What you will be doing:As a member of the Capital Modelling team, your responsibilities may include:Supporting the operation, development and validation of Enstar's Lloyd's Internal Model, including capital assessments, model enhancements and regulatory submissions.Contributing to capital adequacy and solvency assessments, including BSCR, rating agency and internal capital analyses.Supporting the development and maintenance of Python-based models used for capital modelling and M&A transaction analysis.Assisting with the validation of model inputs and outputs through reconciliations, sensitivity testing and investigation of key drivers and movements.Preparing reports, exhibits and presentations that communicate capital model results and insights to management and other stakeholders.Collaborating with colleagues across Finance, Investments, Risk, Treasury and M&A to gather data, understand business drivers and support decision-making.Supporting model governance through the maintenance of high-quality documentation, working papers, assumptions logs and control frameworks.Contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance modelling capabilities, efficiency and governance.Supporting ad hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives across the wider Group. What you will bring:1:1 or 2:1 degree in a numerical disciple, or equivalent practice experience in quantitative analysis and A-Level Math's (Grade A) or demonstrated proficiency in high-level numerical skillsStrong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in insurance, reinsurance and capital modelling.A commitment to pursuing a professional qualification, such as Fellowship of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyse data, perform calculations and present outputs clearly and accurately; experience with PowerPoint is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, well-controlled work.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies.A proactive and intellectually curious approach, with a willingness to learn, take ownership and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with, or an interest in, programming and data analysis tools such as Python, R, VBA or SQL is desirable.
