It’s a hands‑on role where your ideas help shape someone’s next step. Role Responsibilities Plan & Deliver Recruitment Events: Organise impactful internal and external events (e.g. open days, campus visits, school outreach) aligned with strategic priorities and subject areas.Promote College Offerings: Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to showcase college pathways, filling gaps in local education and training.Develop External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with schools, community groups, and other partners, acting as a key contact for outreach efforts.Event Promotion: Collaborate with Marketing to promote events via digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.Track & Evaluate Impact: Use data and the CRM system to monitor event performance, measure engagement, and inform continuous improvement.Co-ordinate with Colleagues: Work with a variety of stakeholders across the entire group including curriculum, student services, estates and other teams as required. QualificationsEvidence you are studying a degree and are in an appropriate year for a placement / or evidence of completing a degree and looking for a post-graduate internship Desirable Skills & ExperienceExperience of public speaking such as delivering presentations or workshopsExperience of working in an events related or marketing roleStrong organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailProactive, collaborative and results drivenCommitment to Equality, Diversity and InclusionStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills

As a changemaker, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to build a culture of emotional wellbeing across our college community, empowering students to thrive personally and academically. About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to begin or develop your counselling career within a college community recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding across all areas.As a Graduate Counsellor, you will contribute to our overall student support offer through the delivery of an essential counselling service. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you will provide therapeutic interventions for students facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.You will also collaborate with our wider Safeguarding and Wellbeing team to develop wellbeing resources, deliver workshops, and promote a positive mental health culture throughout the college.
