This is a Direct Procurement Apprenticeship at Edrington. You'll gain experience across sourcing, supplier management, risk, sustainability and continuous improvement, while developing valuable procurement, supply chain and analytical skills through collaboration with stakeholders across the business.Due to this being an Apprenticeship in order to qualify the role holder must be aged between 18-25 yrs old. Make an ImpactTeamBuild relationships, support team goals and continuously learn about the business.Procurement & AnalyticsAnalyse procurement data and produce insights to support sourcing and performance reporting.Support dashboards, benchmarking, cost analysis and sourcing activities.Supplier Performance & RiskSupport supplier performance, compliance, sustainability and risk management activities.Systems & Process ImprovementMaintain procurement systems and data.Improve reporting, processes and automation opportunities.Learning & DevelopmentComplete apprenticeship requirements and apply learning to develop procurement, commercial and analytical skills.Your Talent and Skills To be successful in this role, you have either supply chain or procurement experience, a Skills for Work National 5 qualification, or an SCQF Level 5 qualification in Warehousing and/or Supply Chain Management. You demonstrate a genuine interest in procurement, supply chain, and business operations, alongside strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable working with data and reporting tools and have excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and are proactive, curious, and self-motivated, with a strong willingness to learn and develop. You take ownership of your work, bring fresh perspectives, and focus on delivering practical solutions. Ideally, you also have experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools and an understanding of procurement, supply chain, finance, or broader business concepts.
