Whether you're developing precision-engineered components, running world-class manufacturing operations, or supporting our people and processes, your role is part of something much bigger. Join us and contribute to a legacy built on performance, precision, and the values that drive us forward - excellence, commitment, integrity, and teamwork. What we can offer you:An interesting and varied field to work in.An environment where you can learn and grow through constant development opportunities.Company cash health care plan with an extensive range of benefits. The Role We’re looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term basis, providing a broad range of accounting and administrative support across the Finance function. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across management accounting, credit control, financial reporting and purchase ledger. You’ll play an important role in helping the Finance team maintain accurate financial records, deliver timely reporting and ensure our finance processes run smoothly and effectively. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll have the opportunity to:Support the Finance team with business-as-usual activities, including month-end processes, journals and other accounting tasks.Take ownership of Credit Control for a small portfolio of high-value customers, helping to ensure payments are received promptly and accounts remain well managed.Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger function when required, supporting the wider team and maintaining continuity of service.Collect, analyse and consolidate data from a range of business systems to produce accurate and meaningful business reports.Complete supplier and customer checks, ensuring new records are set up accurately within the business system.Maintain accurate and complete financial system standing data, helping to ensure the integrity of our financial information.Work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to resolve queries, improve processes and support the effective delivery of the Finance function.This is a role that offers the chance to develop your finance skills while becoming a valued member of a supportive team.Interested?If you have any of the below skills, we would love to talk to you about your next career move:We are looking for a proactive, computer literature, detail orientated and excel proficient individual to join us, this is the perfect opportunity for somebody who: Has recently graduated from an accounting/ finance orientated degree/ AAT or equivalent and is looking for their first opportunity to gain practical experience.Somebody looking for a last-minute placement year in-between their second and third year at university!
