You will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial performance and operational efficiency of a site with assets valued at approximately £75 million. Your primary mission will be to lead the digitalisation of the asset tagging process, ensuring full compliance and accuracy in asset management. You will also contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives, including digitalising management reporting and developing tools to track key business drivers.Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business resultsDeliver a fully operational asset tagging process, including:Maintenance of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)Development of digital tool to support the processCleansing and reconciling the fixed asset registerPhysical tagging and verification of all site assetsSupport finance transformation projects:Assist in digitalising management reportingContribute to the development of business driver toolsProvide support during annual budget cyclesContribute to month-end processes, including:Preparation of management accountsVariance analysisWorking capital and balance sheet reportingStakeholdersYou will work closely with:Internal: Finance team, Engineering team, Department Heads, Internal Control team, Site ManagementExternal: Potential collaboration with external auditors or consultants during compliance checks.Starting salary: £26,227.50 per annum + comprehensive Danone UK benefits package.About youCandidate profile (leadership & functional competencies)Self-motivated and determined with a proactive mindsetStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage workload and meet tight deadlinesAdaptable communication style for different stakeholdersProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointDemonstrates a strong interest in developing a career in FinanceEssential qualifications & experience requiredGraduate-level education in Finance or AccountingExposure to project work or internships in a finance or operations environment is advantageousExperience working with data, reporting tools, or digital platforms is a plus
