A Graduate Engineer role at Custom Interconnect Ltd supporting semiconductor manufacturing through process engineering, equipment maintenance, quality improvement, and R&D in a cleanroom production environment.About this Role:As a Graduate Engineer you be part of the engineering team working closely with cleanroom production personnel to ensure production processes are supported, maintained and documented. Graduate Engineers support the engineering team with continuous improvement of semiconductor processes through review and evaluation of existing manufacturing lines, production standards, documents, records, personnel training standards and requirements.Key accountabilities include but are not limited to;Production Support: assist the engineering team in addressing problems with equipment and/or assembly/product quality as identified by the Production Team; writing equipment operational SOPs for production reference and training.Preventative Maintenance: assist the engineering team to define and document low level Daily and Weekly maintenance tasks and higher level Monthly and Quarterly maintenance tasks as part of standard operational procedures; define and monitor schedules for DWMQ maintenance tasks to ensure equipment maintenance schedules are met. Process Engineering: assist the engineering team to monitor and evaluate production process short-term/long-term performance using Cpk and Ppk statistics; evaluate suitability of measurement systems for CTQ product measurables; use production data to monitor product CTQs using control chart statistics; use statistical analysis of production data to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.Quality Support: assist the engineering and quality teams to investigate PRN data and identify root causes for failure and improvements.Research & Development: assist the engineering team in carrying out Research & Development projects into equipment, new processes and to better understand and refine existing equipment and/or process knowledge.QualificationsMinimum Education: An HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.Preferable Education: A degree qualification; BEng/MEng in engineering or scientific disciplines e.g. electronics, physics, mechanical engineering.Preferable Experience: A 1year industrial placement working within an engineering, scientific and/or manufacturing capacity.DepartmentOSAT Process Engineering
