An engineering instructor role delivering classroom and practical training in electrical and electronic engineering to Royal Navy trainees.What you’ll be doingDelivering classroom instruction to groups of up to 24 trainees in: Electronic engineering and electrical machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3)Conducting practical lab sessions, demonstrating key principles and supervising trainee experimentsAdministering and invigilating both paper-based and online examinationsMarking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistencyMaintaining and updating training materialsCollaborating with Training Design staff to align content with DSAT standards and submit updates for approvalWhat we’re looking forEssential Skills/Experience/QualificationsFoundation Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline)Desirable Skills/Experience/QualificationsPrevious experience working as an EngineerAbout SelborneSelborne is a bold, £1 billion, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy training, led by Capita and a powerhouse consortium known as Team Fisher — including Raytheon UK, Fujitsu, and the University of Lincoln.
