Benchmark’s Operations Associate handles investment platform administration, client queries, data verification and corporate actions.We are looking for self-motivated individuals with strong problem-solving skills who are familiar with the demands of working in a regulated environment to join our dynamic Operations teams. As an associate in operations, you will collaborate with your team to handle a variety of processes on our retail Investment Platform, including managing client queries, updating and verifying personal information, proactively communicating with custodians and advisor firms, and handling corporate actions. We offer excellent opportunities for experienced Financial Associates, as well as entry-level roles for those eager to begin their career in financial services.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out a range of operational administration tasks accurately and efficientlyContribute actively in team meetings and share constructive feedbackCross‑train across multiple functions and administrative processes to support wider business needsBuild and maintain a strong understanding of financial services platformsFollow processes and guidelines to support good client outcomesResearch and identify solutions, applying clear and logical thinking to resolve issuesCheck and verify data to ensure accuracyIdentify exceptions and make the necessary corrections so tasks are completed on time and to a high standardSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRecent graduate or equivalent, with 5 GCSEs including Maths and EnglishMinimum of 2 A Levels or equivalentWilling to learn and take on new responsibilitiesStrong accuracy and attention to detailAble to work independently and within a teamConfident communicator with good interpersonal skills who takes an active interest in team and business activity and offers support when neededThe baseYou'll be based at the Benchmark Head Office, within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex but will need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London.
