Two in our Enterprise Applications team and a further two in Technology Operations!   Constellation Automotive Group (CAG) Technology Operations are looking for a recent technology graduate to join as a Junior with a long term learning journey to eventually grow into a Collaboration Platform Engineer. You will work with an experienced Manager who will develop and improve your skill set through hands-on project experience, and structured training. Longer term you will help you support and improve our Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange), assist with identity and access management (Entra ID/Azure AD), and contribute to automation initiatives (ServiceNow, Power Platform, PowerShell, Graph). This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning quickly, and improving user experience through modern workplace technology.  The Role: The Technology: Microsoft 365 is a powerful suite of business applications that helps organisations run smarter and more efficiently. The Junior Collaboration Platform Engineer is part of the Collaboration Platform team within Technology Operations, with responsibility for the design, administration, configuration and specialist support of our M365 platforms. As a Junior Collaboration Platform Engineer, you’ll support our employees and teams across the businesses, driving positive user experience and frictionless collaboration throughout our tenants whilst maintaining best practice and security standards as defined in collaboration with Information Security. You’ll be at the forefront of significant work modernisation programmes as we migrate from legacy systems, educate our users on efficiencies that can be achieved through our platform and enable our wider teams to maximise their usage of M365. The Junior Collaboration Platform Engineer will have a passion for digital experience and transformation with a focus on automation, reliability and security.  Your manager will tailor a learning journey that will include hands on project experience, working with Microsoft 365, including: Monitoring and improving tools such as Teams, Outlook, Intune (Device management), SharePoint Online Identity: Managing the Entra ID and Auth0 platforms across internal and external customer identities Automation: Implementation of sustainable and effective automation to support the reduction of manual, repeatable exercises In time you will learn to be able to step into a Collaboration Platform Engineer role. You’ll work directly with stakeholders, support larger projects, and help maintain and improve the Collaboration Platform. You’ll collaborate across different teams, take ownership of project delivery, and have the confidence and expertise needed to take on larger platform responsibilities. We’re looking for someone analytical, logical, curious and passionate about technology and the customer experience it provides.  About your learning journey: 90% of your learning will be achieved through hands on project experience, including: Business Orientation: Get to know our organisation, how we work, and how technology drives value. Project 1 – Junior M365 Platform Engineer: Learn & understand the Microsoft 365 technology stack, implement reporting and drive adoption and standardisation. Project 2 – Junior Identity Engineer: Build skills in identity management, across Entra ID & Auth0 (customer facing identity). Understanding security controls implemented at an identity level. Project 3 – Junior Automation Engineer: Learn how to improve standardisation and reduce manual effort through automation. 10% of your learning will be achieved through professional development including core business soft skills as well as academic professional certification such as Project Management and expert certification in AWS and DevOps You will also have the support of a wider Constellation Automotive Group Graduate community, skilled mentors and Learning Development experts. It will be your learning journey, developed with your Manager, but owned by you.  A little more on the hands-on projects you will participate in:  Assist with day-to-day support and administration of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online and Intune. Help manage collaboration artifacts such as Teams/Channels, SharePoint sites, M365 Groups, and distribution lists in line with governance Contribute to improving service reliability through knowledge articles, runbooks, and standard operating procedures Assist in the rollout/adoption of M365 features (communications, guidance, FAQs) Writing clear platform requirements and supporting technical delivery Designing and implementing platform reporting covering compliance, operations, insight and adoption Learning and participating in Agile working practices, including sprint planning, team stand ups and retrospectives Help maintain access hygiene: group ownership, stale accounts, license assignment, and audit evidence preparation Work within ITSM processes (Incidents, Requests, Changes, Problems) Supporting backlog management and sprint planning Utilising PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to implement automation and reporting across the Microsoft stack Exploring Microsoft Graph for inventory, reporting, and automation opportunities  What skills are we looking for? The Junior role doesn't need to everything about Microsoft 365, but you must be able to master these core skills: Enthusiasm for understanding business problems and how technology can solve them Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to turn complex information into clear insights A passion for technology, innovation, and customer experience Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Enjoys working in a fast-paced and diverse environment Confident with Microsoft 365 Product suite  We’ve put everything in place to ensure you thrive.
