Join Amentum in September 2026 and help us create a secure and vibrant future.  As a Graduate Ports and Maritime Civil/Structural Engineer, you will join our specialist team, looking at complex and technically demanding maritime engineering problems within the Nuclear and Defence industries. Each of our projects is unique, but typically involves consideration of the interaction between ports, harbour and coastal structures and the marine environment.  The key challenges associated with the design, assessment and appraisal of marine infrastructure typically includes the consideration of vessel berthing and mooring loads on structures, the influence of tides, waves and currents as well as the impacts of sea level rise and the corrosive effects of seawater on steel and reinforced concrete structures.
