This is real, ground-up engineering work, you’ll design, build, and refine full-scale prototypes and play a pivotal role in developing innovative new products that make a real-world impact.What You'll Be Doing:Collaborate as part of a small, focused team dedicated to new product development Take product ideas from initial concept through to functioning prototypes, all built in-houseDesign mechanical components, mechanisms, and assemblies using SolidWorks Physically build and test your designs, you’ll be hands-on throughout the processWork with a range of materials and use equipment like welders, CNC machines, mills, lathes, and fabrication toolsSupport pre-launch testing, compliance checks, and ongoing product improvementsRequirementsWho We’re Looking ForWe’re after Graduate / Junior & Practical Mechanical Engineers, people who love to get stuck in, build things, and solve real-world problems with their hands as much as their heads. If you're the kind of person who enjoys making ideas real, welding, fabricating, machining, prototyping, we want to hear from you.Essential Skills & AttributesRecent Graduate / Mechanically focused Degree Strong hands-on mechanical ability and confident with using hand-tools Solid understanding of mechanical principles, assemblies, and mechanismsA problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment, building, testing, and iterating on real physical productsBonus Skills (Or Willing to Learn - We’ll Support You):Experience with mechanical linkages, complex assemblies, or moving mechanismsFamiliarity with sheet metal work, TIG/MIG welding, CNC setting/programming or general fabrication SolidWorks experience, great.
