This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated graduates to build a career in the geotechnical and geo-environmental sector, working on a diverse range of infrastructure and utilities projects across the UK.You will be responsible for the supervision of site-based activities, reporting to the Fieldwork Manager. Working closely with Engineers and Senior Engineers, you will ensure fieldwork is carried out to the highest standards. You will be expected to work both autonomously and as part of a team, delivering field and office-based works as scheduled, and will play a key role in supporting factual and interpretive report writing as your experience develops.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision of intrusive site works including cable percussive drilling, windowless sampling, rotary drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testingCompletion of project health and safety documentation in the field and officeLiaising with clients on site and providing clear, professional communicationOn-site project management, ensuring works are delivered on scheduleMonitoring and sampling of installed standpipes for ground gas and water level/quality assessmentSupervising the installation of new monitoring standpipes Regular travel within the region and throughout the UK as requiredSkills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseEssential Requirements:Undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1) in Earth Science, Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or a related disciplineFull UK driving licenceIT literacy (Microsoft Office packages)Fluency in spoken and written EnglishRight to work in the UKExcellent organisational and communication skills with both colleagues and clientsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesComfortable working outdoors and delivering under pressureDesirable:1–2 years’ experience in geotechnical/environmental supervisionValid CSCS cardExperience with geotechnical or geo-environmental fieldworkJoin UsYou’ll be joining a business where your contribution matters and where professionalism, integrity and teamwork are genuinely valued.
